Usually interesting photos make their way to the RRDave Website. I'm thinking that maybe I should keep that page 'just railroad'?
With that in mind, we might need another 'unusual photos' page? Maybe this is it?!

Jarvis ran across this interesting series of photos that he was kind enough to send along.

Who amoungst us hasn't driven their vehicle into the lake? Embarrassing, to be sure, but what the heck? Just call the local guy with a crane, right? A few divers to attach some cables, and up she comes!

This is the perfect example of an adage that has stuck with me for over thirty years, and was told to me by Hank Marx:
Don't spend just enough to fail.

You could've hired the bigger crane in the first place.

David 'Cannon' Rens sent these - the Russian Anatov 225 - largest Aircraft in the world. Delivering a power tranformer for our National Power Grid, to where it's needed - Las Vegas. The tranformer was made in Turkey, no less - the Ruskies were just kind enough to drop it off.
