A Bird and Cat Story
Once upon a time, there were two Humming birds, a male and a female.
The male, seen here on a telephone wire -
and the female, seen (if you look closely) here in a nearby bush -
Were drawn to the hummingbird feeders in our backyard.
Which happen to be hanging by the cat's wirehouse.
Although at first wary of the cats, the humming birds gradually became braver and braver.
Sometimes flying right up to the feeders while the cats watched. The cautious female remains at a discrete distance.
The male humming bird is sort of a show off!
One day the male hummingbird actually thought he'd zip right thru the cats wirehouse!
Bad kitty.
