Evelyn and her friend Kelsie had a 'front yard' sale! Fae was instrumental to the success of this operation, as was Ann Darling Smock.

Adam, kind enough to send along some of his fine photos, wonders if I could possibly spell his son's name correctly?
He also points out that in THIS PHOTO I am off by several years in my estimate of the summer it
was taken. He recalls that he was in college, but not yet married, which narrows the year to about 1991. (I had suggested
mid eighties.) My how time flies. . .

Here is a bit of the 'Find the Bubblegum in the Whipcream' contest. First person to locate the gum, AND blow a bubble, wins!
That would be Kelsey. (on the left)

I'm guessing that this was taken about twenty five years ago. Backyard of Dad's house on Plymouth, soon after they moved
from Livonia, so mid 80's. Mardi and I were 'around' forty, John around twenty, Adam a teen! BAD GUESS! Adam was twenty-two!
Our sister Sara succumbed to diabetes in her late forties, in 1998.
And this was earlier this month, of course, Dad's front yard in Plymouth. Mardi and I are now closer to sixty (tho I doubt
she would view it in quite that context), John and Adam in their respective thirties. LATE thirties, in John's case. . .

Happy Fourth!
I've always said: Give a woman a few days off and she'll re-arrange something. Ann redid three rooms in two days. Evie wants to sleep
on the floor, (?!) so - her bed now graces my office/guest room.
The overgrown car is overgrown, again. Here it is, revisted. Blackberry vines now own it.
Here it is last January, when slightly more visible.
